Took my car in for a service today as its also been playing up. Not sure why it was playing up as the boys couldn't see... any reason for it. But very quick and efficient it took an hour all up and was offered a coffee and the boys behind the desk were happy to chat while you waited as well. Tek screws are a brilliant invention to use for securing steel and plastic sheet to frames. Unfortunately though, when... a tradie doesn't put them all away before he drives off in his ute, they fall on to the road. Then unlucky punters like me get one stuck in their tyre. Almost ruined our holiday plans, but the boys at Elite Wheel & Tyre went the extra mile for us and found a new tyre for our uncommon car and had it fitted and we were on our way again in less than 2 hours. That's an elite level of service for sure.read more

Took my wife's BMW there for new tyres, they did the work quickly and charged what they quoted and finished the job... ahead of time, couldn't be happier, will return with my other cars, these guys are now my go-to tyre dealers in Hobart, cheers boys.
I wrote the above review in good faith upon my first dealing with this business and gave them 5 stars, the staff member I dealt with left the business and my dealings with them since for another of the vehicles I own have been nothing short of unproffessional. Found the customer service at Elite recently first class. Called in to get a quote on a set of tyres for my ute... (extremely competitive, and I had shopped around a number of other 'big name' places before making a decision), and ended up not only getting Elite to do the job, but came back the following week for a service. Not happy, I know of others also unhappy. The tyres were a brand never heard of, they were really hard no give. ... They wore quickly on the inside, like they hadn't done the wheel alignment. Made my vehicle very unsafe.read more
